Script & fiction editing
championing new or emerging screenwriters and authors
As a writer in the early stages of your career, it is so important to get a fresh pair of eyes on your work before querying agents or commissioners.
Whether you’re a novice screenwriter struggling to find your voice or a novelist needing a few tweaks on your finished manuscript, I’m here to nurture your natural talents and mold your story into the best version it can be.
why me?
You may be wondering what makes me qualified to provide you with feedback. Allow me to explain…
I have a bachelor’s degree in Film Production specialising in screenwriting.
I wrote a short film which was shortlisted for the Iris Prize ‘Best British Short’ 2024.
I have experience writing script coverage for the likes of Tiger Aspect Productions and The Walt Disney Company, where I spent my placement year working on the Disney+ UK Originals Production Management team.
I have completed a Copy Editing & Proofreading Course by writing coach Russel Brownlee (see certificate).
I am extremely passionate about all things books, films and editorial! I especially love working with new writers, who I hope I can inspire with some confidence in their ability.

Housekeeping Notes
If you are not sure what kind of editing you think would be most suited to your needs, I will read the first few pages and provide a recommendation for what level of editing I think it requires.
If you are a student or think you would like to have multiple rounds of editing, we can discuss a discounted rate as we progress through each stage to make the cost more affordable.
Please also be aware that I do work full-time alongside freelance copy editing, so I will always advise you before agreeing to work together how long you can expect the turnaround to be (which will likely be longer than a full-time editor’s).
